Pembrokeshire’s only Hospice at Home charity, Paul Sartori Foundation currently has 10 retail stores across the county.

The Sartori stores offer a range of pre-loved quality items, and specialise in items such as furniture and upcycled furniture. The retail sales for Paul Sartori generate 40-50% of the income needed for the Foundation to run their clinical services.

Recently, Diana Shepherd a Freelance Artist and co-founder of arts and well-being organisation ‘All being Well’ painted a window of a local community building in Narberth, which was a very effective way of drawing attention to the hub. This led Diana to contact Paul Sartori where she offered to paint a design on the window of their retail store in Narberth.

Design ideas were firstly discussed with Sandra Dade, Paul Sartori Foundation Charity Manager and Donna Harding, Paul Sartori Store Manager from Narberth, and then Diana set to work. “The finished painting includes bunting to represent some of the colours of Paul Sartori and also refers to the bunting in Narberth town. The sunflowers are also used to represent Hospices. Finally, the white doves symbolise peace, love and hope.” Said Diana.

“My aim was to create eye catching and joyful artwork which hopefully attracts interest in their 40th Anniversary and draw people to the shop,” she continued.

“We always like to create unique, eye-catching window displays in Paul Sartori Narberth, which so many of our regular customers and visitors comment on. We are very grateful to Diana’s generosity in giving up her time to design and paint her artwork on our store window,” said Donna Harding, Manager at Paul Sartori Narberth.
