Christ Church in Milford Haven once again held their Annual Christmas Carol service on 15th December 2019; all in aid of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home. The Church has a small choir and they made the decision between them to support the local charity again, by having a collection at their service.

They raised a fantastic £223.40 at their Christmas Carol service which will help the charity to continue providing the vital support to Pembrokeshire people living in the later stages of any life-limiting illness. “Many of our members have experienced the services provided by Paul Sartori, and we thought it fitting to choose Paul Sartori Foundation again this year” said Peter Griffiths of Christ Church, Milford Haven.

Phil Thompson, Chair of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home said “We are extremely grateful of the Christ Church’s support by donating their collections to us at Paul Sartori. It is through the generosity of the Pembrokeshire people that we can provide these vital services; from home nursing care and equipment loan to the complementary therapies, bereavement and counselling support.”

Paul Sartori Hospice at Home provides a range of services to Pembrokeshire people living in the final stages of a life-limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, under 18’s anticipatory grief and bereavement support, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.

The services provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home enable people in the later stages of any life-limiting illness to be cared for and to die at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear, if that is their wish.

All of the services are free of charge and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, thanks to the generosity of the Pembrokeshire Community.
