The wonderful ladies at Pisgah Sewing Group & Landsker Quilters and Friends have been putting a lot of time and hard work into making Syringe Driver bags for people with life limiting illnesses in Pembrokeshire.
“Thanks to the dedication and skill of the quilting ladies our patients and others in the community now have access to a wide range of syringe driver bags which can be used for a variety of needs for the patients” said Lynn; a Registered Nurse at Paul Sartori Foundation.
This will improve the quality of their lives in their final days; as these bags can hold the Syringe Driver in place making it more comfortable for patients, for this we want to thank the talented ladies very much.
“The difference to the patient will be of great value. The gentleman that initiated this need, found himself with a syringe driver that kept falling off the bed and then he was having to have his tube and needle re -sited causing much pain and distress at an already uncomfortable time, a simple cloth bag made all the difference” Lynn continued.
The Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service provides a range of services to Pembrokeshire people living in the final stages of a life limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.

The services provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service enable people in the later stages of any life limiting illness to be cared for and to die at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear if that is their wish.

Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, thanks to the kind generosity of the Pembrokeshire Community.
