On 11th April, the end of the Easter term; the Head Teacher of St. Oswalds VA School in Jeffreyston retired. After many years of teaching and being the Head Teacher of St. Oswalds for the past 18 years Mrs Margery Brown said her final farewell. Mrs Brown asked for donations for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home in lieu of retirement gifts, in memory of her loving husband Mr John Brown.
The school held a presentation morning on Wednesday 17th July for Mrs Brown’s retirement. Sandra Dade, Charity Manager of Paul Sartori was in attendance. They raised a fantastic amount of £628.00; Sandra explained to the children and parents what services the money will help fund.
