Education & Training

Supporting excellent end-of-life care in Pembrokeshire

Education is an important part of our mission to provide excellent end-of-life care to the people of Pembrokeshire. Alongside delivering our own Hospice at Home services, we want to share knowledge, develop skills, and build confidence among the professionals caring for people with palliative and end-of-life care needs across our community.

We provide education and training for our own teams and work with health and social care professionals and organisations across Pembrokeshire.

Training for Health and Social Care Professionals

Working alongside health and social care services, we provide a range of training opportunities designed to support good practice and improve the experience of patients and those close to them.

Courses may include:

  • Verification of Expected Death
  • Clinical Issues in End-of-Life Care
  • Difficult Conversations in End-of-Life Care
  • Advance Care Planning
  • Grief and Loss

Training availability may vary, and our Clinical Educator can discuss your needs and the learning opportunities currently available.
