The Paul Sartori Community Choir
The Paul Sartori Community Choir is a vibrant part of the wider Paul Sartori family, bringing people together through music, friendship and a shared connection with our community.
Established in 2022, the choir began as a wellbeing project as communities started to reconnect following the COVID-19 pandemic. What began with just 23 people at its first rehearsal quickly grew into something much bigger, becoming a thriving and much-loved community choir.
From the beginning
More than Music
From the beginning, the choir has been about far more than singing. It provides a space where people can enjoy music together, build friendships, and experience the wellbeing benefits that come from being part of a group.
Members come from a variety of backgrounds, with some having a personal connection to Paul Sartori Hospice at Home and its services, and others brought together through a shared love of music and community. The friendships, laughter, and sense of belonging that have developed within the choir have become every bit as important as the performances themselves.

Celebrating four years of the choir
In 2026, the Paul Sartori Community Choir celebrated its fourth birthday, marking four years of music, friendship, and memorable performances.
To celebrate the occasion, choir members were invited to Paul Sartori House for a special tea party, bringing everyone together away from rehearsals and performances to mark how far the choir has come since those first 23 singers met in 2022.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the people who have made the choir what it is today, and the friendships and memories created along the way.
Part of the Paul Sartori family
The choir has become a familiar presence at Paul Sartori events and community occasions across Pembrokeshire, using music to bring people together while helping to raise awareness of our work. Members have performed at concerts, churches, and community venues, supporting other local charities as well as special Paul Sartori occasions including our annual Light up a Life remembrance event in January.
Musical Director Mark Heron also has a very personal connection to the charity and its history: he was baptised by Father Paul Sartori himself. That special link brings another layer of meaning to the choir’s place within the Paul Sartori family.
