The Angle New Year’s Day Dip 2026 has once again brought the Pembrokeshire community together for a spectacular start to the year. With a fantastic number of brave dippers taking to the water, this year’s event was one of our most successful dips yet, raising an impressive £2,694.36 to support free hospice at home services provided by the Paul Sartori Foundation.
The atmosphere at West Angle Bay was electric as friends, families, and supporters gathered to cheer on the participants. From seasoned dippers to first timers, the courage and enthusiasm shown in the icy water truly embodied the spirit of Pembrokeshire.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our community partners. Heartfelt thanks go to Wavecrest Café, The Hibernia Inn, KJ Prints, Cwtch Laser Designs, Communic8, Axon, Pembrokeshire Paddlers, and the fantastic team of Paul Sartori event volunteers, without whom we simply could not run events like this. Their time, dedication, and community spirit ensured a smooth and memorable day for everyone involved.

The Paul Sartori Foundation provides compassionate, free hospice at home services to people over the age of 18 with life-limiting illness in Pembrokeshire. Our services include hands-on nursing care, equipment hire, complementary therapy, future care planning, bereavement support, and more. We aim to ensure people can receive end-of-life care in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people and things they love.
