Recently Paul Sartori Hospice at Home charity have received a fantastic donation of embroidered vests for their event Volunteers. Mr Mike Hamilton, from Neyland has supported the Charity for a number of years and he decided that he wanted to make the generous donation. Mike had previously volunteered at the Warehouse in Snowdrop Lane and now he also helps out at events.
At the end of last year Mike also took part in the Paul Sartori overseas challenge; The Great Wall of China Trek. He raised a considerable amount to be able to take part along with vital funds for the Hospice at Home services to continue.
“I hope that the embroidered vests come in handy for future fundraising events.” Said Mike Hamilton. “I would also like to thank everyone who sponsored and supported me with my fund raising for The Great
Wall of China Challenge. I look forward to the next overseas challenge with Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.” Continued Mike.
“We really appreciate Mike’s generosity by donating these vests and giving up so much of his spare time to volunteer.” Said Sandy Stark, Management Registered Nurse at Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.
