Paul Sartori Hospice at Home, a Pembrokeshire-based charity, supporting people living in the final stages of a life limiting illness. Met with Wendy Burge and Sarah Thomas at the end of their January Challenge.
During the month of January Wendy Burge and Sarah Thomas challenged each other to get out and get moving! They walked before and after work to get the mileage up. Completing 62 miles each on 28th January outside Paul Sartori House, they still have a couple of days left and will continue to clock up the mileage. Here they met with members of the nursing team, Laura Hugman (Clinical Team Manager) and Helen Price (Part Time Management RN).
Laura Hugman said “It is always special to meet family members and friends of those we have provided care for through our Clinical services. We get to hear of the positive difference it makes to the families the Paul Sartori Foundation supports. We are excited to hear about their fundraising activities, which will support the sustainability of our core Clinical Services. With the help of the Foundation family members are able to support their loved ones to remain at home if this is their preference for end of life care”.
Sarah Thomas said “we called your Paul Sartori Nurses, Angels in blue”!
