Dragon LNG have announced their charity of the year for 2019 will be Paul Sartori Hospice at Home. Dragon LNG, located in Waterston, asked their staff to select a local Pembrokeshire Charity to support throughout 2019. Three charities were short listed, with Paul Sartori Hospice at Home winning the final vote. It kick-started the Charity partnership by having a coffee morning on 21st February. A number of staff fundraising events within work are held throughout the year, including cake sales and a Christmas jumper day. Some of the staff will also do individual events to raise money for the Charity.
Lynette Round, Communications and Facilities Coordinator at Dragon LNG, recently met with the team at Paul Sartori to discuss the year ahead and future events they would like to hold. Lynette said, “We hold the vote each year for staff to have the opportunity to select a Charity close to them, the local Charity with the most votes becomes Dragon LNG’s Charity partner. We are delighted to support Paul Sartori throughout 2019 and help spread awareness of the work they carry out within Pembrokeshire.”
Heather Green, the Complementary Therapy Team Coordinator at Paul Sartori; said, “We are so grateful that Dragon LNG have chosen Paul Sartori Hospice at Home as their charity of the year. It is through the generosity of local businesses, like Dragon LNG, that we can continue to provide this much needed service in Pembrokeshire, which is available free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
