Paul Sartori Hospice at Home opened their first Letterston retail outlet in April 2010, this was the smallest Sartori Store in Pembrokeshire, but it proved very popular with the local community and passing holiday makers. The doors were closed for the final time in September 2018 when the property was put up for sale by the owners. Luckily, another property nearby soon became vacant and the Sartori store was re-opened in a much bigger premises becoming the new community hub.

This is one of the few stores that has not had paid staff in place. John Grieg has been the volunteer shop supervisor for many years. John and all of the wonderful team of volunteers have done a fantastic job with both the stores over the years and the charity cannot thank them enough.

These last few years have been tough for many of us, many people have been rightly concerned about Covid-19 and have become less inclined to venture out, to volunteer and to shop. As you know it has been a challenging time for all Sartori stores and unfortunately some haven’t recovered from the impact left by the pandemic.

Our duty is to protect the Charity financially, and with this in mind, the Trustees have taken the difficult decision to give notice to the landlords that Paul Sartori do not intend to continue with the lease. The final day the team will be opening the doors is Friday 29th April 2022. The Retail Team would like to invite all past and present Volunteers, donors and local community members to pop in for some tea and cake to celebrate throughout the day.

We would be extremely grateful if you could continue to donate your quality items to our larger store within Letterston:
