A concert was held recently at St Mary’s Church, Warren (near Castlemartin) in memory of much loved choir member Sonia Thompson which raised a total of £740 for the Paul Sartori Foundation, a local charity providing care to people with life limiting illnesses.

Various members of the ˜Sing for Joy” choir group organised this event in Sonia’s memory, who passed away last year.  It was the choice of the family that the proceeds of the concert should go to Paul Sartori, due to the excellent care received.

Toni Dorkings, Community Fundraiser for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home thanked the members of the ˜Sing for Joy” choir group and the family of Sonia Thompson adding, “The amount raised will directly help more people in Pembrokeshire who require our services, and ensure that we can continue to offer the vital care and support to people living in the county with any life limiting illness.”

Concerts, coffee mornings and local community events like these are crucial to the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home charity.  If you have an idea for a local fundraiser, but would like some help and advice, Paul Sartori urge you to contact Toni Dorkings the Community Fundraiser either via email toni@paulsartori.org or by phoning 01437 763223.
