Paul Sartori Hospice at Home is pleased to announce it has received a £500 grant from the Ten Percent Foundation to support its specialist end-of-life care for patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and the effects of strokes.
The funding will contribute to the charity’s continued delivery of compassionate, dignified care to individuals at home with complex conditions, helping them remain at home during their final days, surrounded by loved ones. This vital support includes hands-on nursing care, access to essential equipment, complementary therapy, counselling and bereavement services, and 24/7 on-call services.
The grant will directly benefit the charity’s work with individuals across Pembrokeshire. Between March 2024 and February 2025, Paul Sartori’s clinical team supported 15 patients with Parkinson’s and 3 who had suffered strokes, tailoring care to each person’s needs and working closely with NHS, social services, and charities such as Parkinson’s UK and the Stroke Association.
“We are delighted to be able to support Paul Sartori Hospice at Home for another year with a small donation towards the end-of-life care for patients with conditions including Parkinson’s disease. My father lived with Parkinson’s disease, and I appreciate the effects it has on quality of life. We hope to be able to support Paul Sartori again in future years,” said Jonathan Fagan, Founder of the Ten Percent Foundation and the Ten Percent Group of Companies.
Judith Williams, Grant Development Officer at Paul Sartori Hospice at Home, said, “We are incredibly grateful to the Ten Percent Foundation for this support. Even small grants make a meaningful difference to how we deliver care in our community. This funding will help us to continue offering tailored care and support to patients with Parkinson’s and strokes, ensuring comfort, dignity, and choice at the end of life.”
The Ten Percent Foundation is a charitable trust based in the UK and was established to donate 10% of the Ten Percent Group’s annual profits. The Ten Percent Foundation has been managing the charitable donations of the Ten Percent Group of websites for over 20 years.
