The much-anticipated Slipway Ukes gig, which took place on Saturday, 28 March 2026, was hosted by Regency Hall, Saundersfoot and was generously supported by Saundersfoot Rotary Club.

The Slipway Ukes joined forces with local band Footbridge, as well as community choir, Pembrokeshire Pop Voices, who will be giving a performance of their current charity single, ‘Love the Bones of You’, which raises funds directly for the Foundation, at the upcoming Voices at the Castle at Pembroke Castle on 13th June.

Ukulele group The Slipway Ukes have a history of supporting the Paul Sartori Foundation, having raised a significant amount through events over the years. Rosie-Faye Hart, Community Relationship Officer for the Foundation said, “Support through fantastic community events like these not only contributes to local culture and live entertainment, but also brings people together to raise money for a cause that impacts the lives of so many in Pembrokeshire.”

The atmosphere during the night was warm and buzzing, with people enjoying delicious food from local producers, The Copper Hog, as well as the Rotary Club themselves while tapping their feet and dancing to Footbridge’s catchy and upbeat tunes and the Slipway Ukes’ infectiously fun performance.

Finishing off the evening, the group combined talents with Footbridge and Pop Voices to perform together, which made the event truly memorable.

If you are a musician/artist or part of a performing group and would like to do something a bit different for the Paul Sartori Foundation, please get in touch with Rosie-Faye Hart on 07584 684 171 or rosie-faye@paulsartori.org.

The Charity encourages individuals, businesses, and community groups to get involved and support in creative ways. Donations of all sizes will make a difference, helping to ensure that no one in Pembrokeshire must face the end of life without the care and equipment they need.
