There was a fantastic turnout for the well-being and pamper day held at New Hedges village hall, near Tenby on Saturday 1st June. There were a selection of stalls from massages, Bowen technique and crystal healing to clothes, plants and cake stalls. This brilliant event was organised by Melissa Scarfe, in memory of Kathy Scarfe; and all the proceeds went to Paul Sartori Hospice at Home charity.
Melissa worked very hard to secure a wide selection of stalls for the well-being and pamper day, and it was a huge success, with this year’s event raising a staggering £1530.00. Lynn Hunter, Management RN at Paul Sartori said “We are so grateful to all local events such as this Well-being day; for supporting the charity. It is through the generosity of the local community that we are able to provide end of life care to Pembrokeshire people.”
Paul Sartori Hospice at Home provides a range of services to Pembrokeshire people living in the final stages of a life-limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.
The services provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home enable people in the later stages of any life-limiting illness to be cared for and to die at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear, if that is their wish.
