Llanllwni YFC held their annual carol singing just before Christmas in aid of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home. Around 30 of their members went out on Monday 17th and Thursday 20th December and split into two groups. The groups went door-to-door round the local villages; singing both Welsh and English carols.

The local communities really enjoy the annual tradition of carol singing and are delighted to see them. Every year Llanllwni YFC raise money and donate it to various charities. This year they supported Paul Sartori as the Charity had supported one of the member’s relatives. They also chose Epilepsy Action, Skanda Vale Hospice and The Breast Care Unit – Llanelli.

Sara Thomas, a Llanllwni YFC member said “We hope that the money we have raised will make a difference and will help with the work you do.” They raised a fantastic total of £1421.11 for Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.

“It is through the generosity of the Pembrokeshire people that we can continue to provide this much needed service for anyone in the later stages of any life limiting illness. The services are available free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.” Said Laura Hugman, Clinical Team Manager at Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.
