Throughout July and August Jo Doran held a Hacha Yoga session every Tuesday on Freshwater East beach. These 1½ hour sessions were fun, relaxed and ideal for all ages and levels of participants. There was a fantastic turnout each week, even in the rain. Jo organised this all in aid of Paul Sartori Hospice at Home, and asked for donations, a suggested amount of £5.
Jo raised a fantastic £450.00 by holding these yoga sessions. “Fundraisers such as Jo enables the charity to exist. The donation of goodwill, effort and shear hard work of the fundraisers enables Paul Sartori Hospice at Home to provide the free services, and to care for the service users in the later stages of any life limiting illness.” Said Elvire Beijdorff the lead Bereavement Counsellor for Paul Sartori.
